The Info Grafik Structure

Including the principals, Info Grafik employs six people in an open office environment which includes the senior members' responsibility to nourish the individual talents of its junior partners. The sense of working structure is informal and mellow, but projects are motivated by the vision of the founder.

Oren Schlieman, President and Creative Director, grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to Honolulu when he was eleven years old. He attended Punahou School and Wesleyan University, and received an MFA from California Institute of the Arts. He was founding president of the American Institute of Graphic Arts Honolulu Chapter, and served on the boards of the Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai`i and the Punahou O-Men. He has published articles in Hawai`i Business, The Honolulu Weekly and the national AIGA Journal. In the mid-nineties was selected by Honolulu Magazine as one of fifty people in the state most likely to have a positive and enduring impact on our future.

Fran Butera, Vice President and Design Director, moved to Hawai`i after graduating from the University of Virginia. She worked as a designer/writer at several Honolulu design firms and one in Seoul, South Korea before joining Info Grafik. Senior Designer since 1987, Fran has won 75+ local and national design awards and has published articles on design in Hawai`i Business.

The other key members of our team are Billy Candela, Jason David, Dori Ho-DeMattos, Harald Lehnardt, Ken McGuire and Roland Sugimoto.
