Central Pacific Bank was looking for a way to communicate to potential business customers the value of working with a strong mid-sized bank like CPB. The large banks tend to offer many products and thin customer service while the opposite tends to be true for the smaller banks. The ad campaign uses a touch of humor to state this in a clear and easy to remember way.
